Telenor Digital’s CEO, Stig A. Waagbø, was one of the speakers on the first day on this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The topic of the session was Automating the Sales Pipeline, a topic close to heart for Telenor Digital. Stig was joined by Mary Clark (Chief Product Officer and P&L Leader, TMT Sector) and Shaun Collins (Excecutive Chairman, CCS Insights). Due to the pandemic, the session was a hybrid session between virtual and physical – making it possible for audience around the globe to attend.
Stig shared insights on Telenor Digital’s experience related to driving customer engagement and interactions in the digital world. In this, balancing first and third party digital channels as a way to maximise digital reach and create delightful user experiences online.
A clear take away from the panel discussion was the need for the telco industry to partner with digital players, as well as the need for software competence and middleware to enable the industry act on the opportunities within 5G.
